5th Grade
I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. Now it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for — CRCT!!! We have worked hard and had a lot of fun learning all the things we need to know to “BUST THAT TEST”! Testing will begin Wednesday, April 15th with reading, language arts and math. Monday, April 20 will be science and Tuesday will be our last day with social studies. Then we can get back to our regular schedule!
We will complete our Earth Science unit with some hands on activities and our last project of the year. I will give this assignment out on Wednesday April 22nd. Students will have one week to finish the project – it will be due on Thursday, April 30.
During the month of May, we will conclude the year with health and a study of tobacco, drug and alcohol abuse. It is hard to believe that this year is rapidly coming to an end. Check back often for updates on the end of the year activities.
EXTRA CREDIT OR MAKE UP WORK: Always available to students. Students must come to me to get it.
